Grant County Jail Roster Access
The official Grant County current-inmate route starts at the county Jail Inmate Roster page. That page sends users to the Grant County Sheriff's Office roster hosted by 365Labs at the Community Portal inmate list. The county page warns that jail or release status can change quickly and that a jail listing does not prove guilt or innocence. Sheriff Joe Kriete heads the Grant County Sheriff's Office, and the Corrections Division runs the county jail custody process.
The roster covers Grant County Jail custody, not every person with a Grant County court case. It is the best first stop for pretrial inmates, people serving short county jail sentences, new bookings, warrant arrests, and releases from the last 48 hours. It is not the correct source after a person is sentenced and moved to the Washington State Department of Corrections, taken into federal prison custody, or transferred to immigration detention. Those systems use different numbers, search fields, and custody rules.
The county roster screenshot source is the Grant County roster link page, which explains the official route before the 365Labs portal opens.
That county page matters because it ties the vendor list back to the Grant County Sheriff's Office rather than to a commercial search result.
Use the Grant County Roster
The Grant County roster may show a captcha before the inmate list loads. After that, the public list uses tabs, name fields, a booking-number field, a refresh control, and page buttons. During research, the roster title included a live date and time stamp plus a presumption-of-innocence notice. The list was sortable, and blue linked names opened a detail dialog for the booking profile.
- Open the county roster page, then follow the link to the 365Labs Community Portal inmate list.
- Complete any captcha prompt before the Grant County inmate records list loads.
- Select Recent for bookings in the last 48 hours, All for current inmates, or Recent Releases for releases in the last 48 hours.
- Search by last name first when spelling is uncertain. Add first name or booking number to narrow the result.
- Click the linked inmate name to open the Grant County booking profile and review the custody details.
- Use Refresh if the roster has been open while waiting for a new booking or release.
- If no record appears, call the jail inmate line, check the records portal, and search state, federal, or immigration locators when the custody type may have changed.
Grant County Roster Search Fields
The Grant County 365Labs roster is useful even when a full name is not known. Booking numbers observed in the research used a compact year-coded format, such as 26A1150. The field set is narrow, which is good for a quick custody check but less useful for older history. A person may also be missing because booking is not finished, the name is spelled differently, the person was released, or another agency holds them.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Options / Format Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Show Bookings | Segmented buttons | Optional | Recent means bookings in the last 48 hours; All means current inmates; Recent Releases means releases in the last 48 hours. |
| First Name | Text | Optional | Use to narrow a common last name. The field supported up to 50 characters during research. |
| Last Name | Text | Optional | Best first search field when exact spelling is uncertain. |
| Booking No. | Text | Optional | Use the jail booking number if it appears on paperwork or was provided by jail staff. |
| Refresh | Icon button | Optional | Loads the latest bookings when the page has been open for a while. |
| Pagination | Page buttons | Optional | Moves through result pages, with the roster configured for page-by-page browsing. |
Note: The Grant County public roster hid date of birth during research even though the roster code supported that field.
Grant County Inmate Profile Fields
A Grant County jail profile is a booking record. It is not a final court judgment. The roster can show booking charges, warrant labels, agency abbreviations, bond amounts where present, and docket numbers when the booking charge connects to a filed case or warrant. The sample charge data included District Court warrants, Washington RCW charges, and a DOC arrest or detention order, which means one booking can reflect several legal sources.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Surname, given name, and middle name formatting used by the roster. |
| G/R and Age | Gender/race code and age. Public DOB display was hidden during research. |
| Booking No. | Grant County booking identifier for one custody episode, such as a 26A#### format. |
| Booking Date | Intake date and time for the jail booking. |
| Release Date | Release date when present. Blank can mean current custody or no posted release yet. |
| Charges | Booking-charge list with statute title, description, warrant or agency detail, and court links when present. |
| Bail Amount | Amount listed on a charge or warrant when the roster provides one. Verify with jail or court before paying. |
| Warrant and Docket Numbers | Numbers that can help connect the jail record to District Court, Superior Court, or other case records. |
Grant County Records Channels
The full access chain starts with the online roster but does not end there. For immediate inmate questions, Grant County publishes the jail information line as 509-754-2011 ext. 2485. The Corrections extension is 2196. The published jail address remains 35 C Street NW / PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, while the sheriff announced a move reopening July 6, 2026 at 1890 Nat Washington Way SE. Address details should be checked before an in-person visit during the move period.
For records not visible on the roster, use the Grant County Public Records page and the Grant County Public Records Center. A request should name the Grant County Sheriff's Office or Corrections Division when the record concerns booking, jail custody, jail roster history, or a booking photo. Include full name, booking number, booking date, date of birth or age if known, and the exact record sought.
The public-records portal screenshot source is the Grant County Public Records Center, the official online route for requests that are not solved by the roster.
The portal is the practical fallback for older booking material, booking photos that are not displayed, and jail records that need agency review before release.
Grant County Booking Records
Booking starts after an arrest by a Grant County deputy, city police officer, Washington State Patrol trooper, warrant officer, or other agency with authority to book a person into the jail. Intake can include identity checks, property inventory, medical or mental-health screening, fingerprints, booking-photo processing, classification, housing, and phone access. The Grant County Sheriff's Office Custody Manual describes formal jail policy areas such as classification, discipline, grievances, medical access, commissary, inmate work, and population control.
A roster entry may not appear at the exact moment of arrest. Transport, medical clearance, identity checks, spelling variation, release, transfer, or placement in another custody system can all affect whether a record appears. The jail roster is a custody list, not a street-arrest log. Court records are also separate. A booking charge shows why the person entered jail, while the prosecutor and court record show what formal charges are filed after review.
Grant County Jail Visit Records
Grant County publishes jail visiting information on the official Visitation Hours page. The research did not support a reliable day-by-day schedule table to republish here, and the July 2026 facility transition may affect public entrances and visit handling. Use the county page and the jail line before travel. Visitor identity, dress, conduct, age rules, security status, lockdowns, attorney access, and holiday changes can affect whether a visit takes place.
| Visit Topic | Grant County Detail |
|---|---|
| Public schedule source | Use the official Grant County Visitation Hours page for current jail visit information. |
| Facility | Grant County Jail in Ephrata. |
| Visitor verification | Bring government photo ID and follow jail entry rules. |
| Schedule caution | Verify the same day with the jail, especially during holidays, lockdowns, and the July 2026 move. |
| Attorney visits | Attorney visits are handled separately from public or social visits and should be coordinated with jail staff. |
| Minors | Confirm current minor-visitor rules with the jail because the research did not provide a fixed rule. |

Use the live county page because visit logistics can change faster than older saved jail records can reflect.
Grant County Custody Lookup Limits
Grant County Jail records and state prison records answer different questions. A person in the Grant County Jail may be waiting for first appearance, held on a warrant, serving a short jail sentence, or waiting for transfer. A person sentenced to state prison is searched through the Washington DOC inmate search. DOC uses a DOC number and may list facility, custody status, sentence or offense information, and profile photo. That is not the same as a Grant County booking number.
Federal and immigration custody have separate systems. The Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator is for sentenced federal prisoners and some older federal records. Federal pretrial detainees may be under U.S. Marshals control and may not appear in BOP search. The ICE Online Detainee Locator System is used for immigration detention after transfer to ICE. VINELink at Washington VINELink helps with custody and release notifications in participating systems.
| Custody Type | Best Lookup Route | What to Know |
|---|---|---|
| Grant County pretrial or short sentence | Grant County roster | Use Recent, All, or Recent Releases in the 365Labs portal. |
| Sentenced Washington state prisoner | WA DOC inmate search | Search by DOC number or name after transfer from the jail. |
| Sentenced federal prisoner | BOP inmate locator | Search by federal number or name. This is not a county roster. |
| Immigration detention | ICE ODLS | Search by A-number and country or biographical details. |
| Release notifications | VINELink | Register for alerts where the custody system participates. |
Note: No official Grant County sheriff mobile app was found in the research, so use the website, phone line, and official portals.
Grant County Jail Contact
The main local facility is the Grant County Jail, operated by the Grant County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division under Sheriff Joe Kriete. Use the jail information line for current custody questions, but use the public-records portal when a copy of a booking record, roster history, jail record, or booking photo is needed. Do not rely on a stale screenshot for release status or bond status because those can change after a court order, warrant clearance, or transfer.

Grant County Mail and Funds
Mail and commissary are part of the jail custody record because wrong routing can delay contact or deposits. Grant County correctional materials point users to the jail mailing address, the jail FAQ, commissary deposits, inmate phone service, and jail rules. Include the inmate name and booking number when known. Do not send contraband, cash in ordinary mail, coded messages, explicit material, or items barred by jail policy. Non-legal mail may be inspected, while legal mail follows separate handling rules.
| Service | Grant County Detail |
|---|---|
| Use the jail mailing address published by Grant County and include the inmate name and booking number when known. | |
| Phone | Inmate telephone access is described by Grant County jail materials and begins after booking allows practical access. |
| Commissary | County FAQ material references jail kiosks and vendor processes; verify the current vendor and fee before paying. |
| Cash in mail | Do not use ordinary mail for cash unless a current official county page expressly allows it. |
